Tomo

Tomo. is a next generation credit card company located in the heart of San Francisco built by young immigrant founders who felt the pain of getting a credit card as a foreign national. Unlike the majority of credit card issuers, the tomo card does not require any credit history for approval and uses alternate metrics to determine an individual's credit worthiness.

My role was to help create a brand that reflects the quality and mission of the tomo card through a style that is sleek and innovative with a thoughtful amount of quirk. 

Projects include static and motion graphics for social media platforms, blog posts, emails, merchandise, advertising materials and collaboration on the tomo card design.

The bright green dot in the tomo. logo holds a lot of character. I wanted to build on that by giving the dot a personality consistent with the tomo brand (sleek and a bit quirky) and show this personality through motion. 

In addition to showing the personality of the brand through the animated logo, my objective for this video was to hold the attention of the viewer (especially college students who may not be very interested in finance) and present the main offerings of the card (no credit check, 0% APR and 1% cashback) in an engaging, memorable way.
